Chris Henchy picked us on Funny or Die!

Just a few hours after we landed back in New York on Sunday (after a much-needed nap) Eric and I found out that "Entourage" producer and Will Ferrell pal Chris Henchy had picked "The Retributioners - Episode 4: Drunk Dial Party" as his favorite pick for the month on the "Funny Or Die" web site. Since then, our views on the site have zoomed! Here's Episode 4 again:

We've also been getting a great response as a result of going on iTunes in the last week. Our show is absolutely free to download into your iPod, and can be found here, if you have iTunes:

Finally, we've met some great folks at the festival who we'd like to mention. We saw their movies, and they are both great!

We met Glenn Gers, a successful Los Angeles screenwriter who made his directorial debut with his film, "Disfigured," a movie about women and weight:

We also met Robert Peters, an actor, director and writer. He made his feature directorial debut with his film, "Half-Empty." I highly recommend it, especially for you folks who love improvised dialog:

Continue to watch "The Retributioners," and spread the word!

Thank you!

Yes! We’re on iTunes!

It's official, folks! We made it to iTunes! You can now download our show, and watch us on your iPod! Imagine running on the treadmill, and watching Juanita Crackwhore (from Episode 2). Here is the official iTunes link, which will take you to the iTunes store:

It's so cool! You can write a review of the show, and you can send it to your friends! If you don't have iTunes, the link might not work. Give it a try!

Up next…..I got to order those T-shirts I was talking about!

Oh yes! Almost forgot to mention that Eric and I will be going to Oklahoma this week for the 8th annual deadCenter Film Festival! Eric's film, "S&M Queen for a Day," made it as an official selection! If you never saw it, you can watch it here:

It has over 87,000 views on YouTube at this point (probably because it has the words 'S&M' in it). In any case, while we're in Oklahoma, we'll be promoting "The Retributioners."

Let me know how the iTunes thing works out! – steph

Episode 5 - the former f'in BFF

Well, we're shooting Episode 5 tomorrow, and I'm scared out of my wits! The weather might suck, and I'm just hoping it's funny, if not funnier, than the others.

We start at 7:45 in the morning. So, you know the crew hates me already. And we're working with some new PAs.

I'll tell you how it all goes....

Funny not Slutty

Hi everybody! I wanted to give you a Retributioners update!

We just got featured in a brand new online magazine called "Funny Not Slutty." It features comedy for women created by female producers, writers, humorists, and comedians.

We are on the front page of the first edition!

It looks like it will be great place to discover female comedic talent all over the U.S. They have a forum, announcements, etc. It's BRAND NEW, so not much content on their yet. However, I am imagine it will be very popular.

Here is the link:

Also, we are in the process of creating Episode 5. It's taken us a bit longer than we thought, because we're having issues with scheduling and locations.

We hope to have it up VERY shortly!

Feel free to drop me a line! - steph

This is the 'Funny or Die' link, so be sure to VOTE funny or die at the end or during the video! Yes, there is a vote button on the lower right hand corner of the video!

I'll have it uploaded directly to MySpace by tomorrow.
